German aftermarket company Vath introduces a new tuning package for Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe that boosts the already impressive 457 hp-600Nm output of the original model up to 680 hp with 840 Nm (619 lb/ft) of peak torque. In order to achieve these staggering figures, the tuner added to the standard AMD 6.2-litre V8 a new supercharger along with re-calibrated ECU, water intercooling system, high performance air filters and new stainless steel exhaust system. According to Vath, these modifications allow the car to sprint from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 4 seconds flat with a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph).
The German tuner has also installed a high-performance braking system with 380 mm discs, 20″ alloy wheels and a Clubsport coilover suspension, which can lower the car between 20 mm and 65 mm. The body-kit includes carbon fiber front spoiler, rear diffuser, boot lip spoiler and larger fenders, which widen the car’s track by 80 mm. In the cabin we find a sports steering wheel with wood or carbon fiber trim, a 360 km/h speedometer and more carbon fiber inserts on dashboard and door panels. The whole package is priced at is priced at 64,308 € (about 83,600$ - 54,000£), car NOT included.

German company Vath presents a soft tuning for the last generation of Mercedes SLK, a package that surely adds up to the sporty nature of the model. The kit comprises a new lip spoiler, rear diffuser, 20″ alloy wheels and a lower ride height. The interior has been refined with carbon fibre finishing, aluminum pedals, customized carmats and a revised instrumentation panel featuring a 330 km/h full scale speedometer, but unfortunately no images of the passenger compartment have been released.
AMG V8 unit aside, Vath can also re-calibrate the electronics of the whole standard engine range: the output of the SLK 200 CGI can be boosted to 210 hp with 310 Nm of maximum torque, the 250 CGI can be provided with 244 hp and 360 Nm of peak torque while the SLK 350 could reach 330 hp with 390 Nm of torque. As optional extras, Vath also offers an upgraded braking system, limited slip differential and a sports exhaust system made of steel.

German tuner Vath introduced a new tuning package for Mercedes CLS 63 AMG called C218. The engine displacement has been increased to 5.461 liters that - with the help of a new exhaust system and a re-mapping of the ECU - boasts the 514 hp of the original four-door coupe up to a staggering 660 hp, with no less than 960 Nm of peak torque. This configuration allows the CLS 63 AMG to achieve 325 Km/h of top speed with a 0-100km/h sprint time of only 3.9 seconds.
The C218 package also includes a few aesthetic and aerodynamic changes in the form of slightly different bumpers, bigger air-intakes, rear wing and diffuser. Ride-height has been lowered, the braking system has been upgraded and standard rims replaced with Vath 20″ alloy wheels. The full C218 package comes with a 12.800€ price tag.
