Another Audi A8 teaser shot has been released before the debut of the new A8 sedan in Miami later today. The only thing we’ve previously seen of the A8 is the clear addition of LED lights in the second photo below, and a brief teaser video (after the jump). We’ll be bringing you more details later today after the debut and hopefully a nice gallery so we can get a closer look at Audi’s new A8 saloon.

Audi has released this debut teaser video for the new Audi A8, to be presented on December 1st. We should hopefully know more about the much anticipated sedan on that date, as the full alluminium chassis and bodywork promises a lightweight, performance-oriented car.

The new A8 will have all wheel drive and QVT differential, and each unit in the engine range should have direct injection and twin turbo power. The main engine choice will likely be a 3.0-litre and 4.2-litre V8, in both diesel and petrol options. The release of the new A8 will see competition heat up in the large saloon segment, and we can’t wait to see it.

Audi has released these viral videos as a teaser to the Frankfurt show premiere of its new electric car. While the videos show nothing of the car, they’re a lot of fun and are about introducing the theme of “untamed” electricity.

The Audi electric concept car to be presented at Frankfurt will be a kind of coupe electric R8 and is clearly competing with the launch of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept. See the dedicated Audi E-Tron site for more details.

Here’s another video teaser for the new Jaguar XJ, whose debut will take place this week on July 9th. This video is called “Driving Dynamics” and a few new aspects are revealed. Mike Cross, head engineer for the XJ, describes the innovation and project design for this new Jaguar. Stay tuned for the debut when we’ll bring you more details.

More theories on the mysterious Lamborghini model expected at the Paris motor show have emerged, with the guys at Italiaspeed placing their bet for the Murcielago Super Veloce. A reader survey on Autoblog.it resulted with most votes for the theory of a totally new concept, although news is out that the Super Veloce will be produced in a limited series of only 100 examples, with a price of around 382,400 euros.

Inside Lane has come up with a radical theory, but we like it: exploit the Audi A8 platform to create a sports sedan, in competition with Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera.

Lamborghini has released this mysterious image, but postponing any explanation until the Paris show in October. Spy photographers, get your cameras out! It’s difficult to know what this shot belongs to - could it be a new version of the Gallardo Lp560/4? Or a new Superleggera that has been denied (denials that we choose to ignore!)?

It could also be the new Gallardo track version with updated aerodynamics and exhaust. It’s likely that nostalgics for the Lamborghini will be dreaming of the next Murcielago SV, with rear wheel drive and a few kilos less, though we feel the exhaust (barely) seen in this photo is not compatible.

The only details that were afforded in the press release included “a new Lamborghini” and a “new world”, which leaves us to wonder whether it could be a completely new concept car - even the much-talked about extreme super-SUV…

Car companies have got the taste for teaser campaigns with new models being anticipated through enigmatic snaps and tantalising partial shots. BMW is no exception to this fashion and has released the first official images of the new 7 Series, where it’s possible to make out only the form of the headlights.

The occasion is a golf tournament sponsored by BMW, who has hit the nail on the head with donating to the public a glimpse of what will be seen at the Paris show in October, where the 7 Series will have its debut. The renderings and spy shots have already given us some idea of the new car, and official photos are expected in about a week.

This just makes you want to rip off the canvas and see what’s underneath - teaser is definitely the word for this photo before the July 22nd presentation at the London show when the first Lotus novelty in 13 years will be revealed.

The Elise over the years has produced many variations of great success, and now we’re set to enjoy the Lotus Eagle, anticipated at the Geneva show with a piece of the rear peeking out. The car will be a 2+2 offering, with a mid-engined V6, likely of 3.5 litre Toyota origin at 270 hp, with some extra turbocharged power steps.
