German aftermarket company Startech presents a quite interesting tuning and accessories program dedicated to the Jaguar XJ, inclusive of aerodynamic body-kit, customized 21″ forged wheels and several refinement options for the cabin. The body-kit comprises a re-designed front-bumper featuring LED day lights integrated into the air intakes, larger fenders with integrated air outlets, side sills, a tiny rear spoiler and a rear bumper with integrated diffuser hosting a pair of stainless-steel mufflers.
In contrast with the shiny black of the exterior, inside we find a cream-colored all-leather upholstery for seats, panels, sides of the central console and some detail of the steering wheel. The central console in particular is an addition made by Startech, featuring large storage compartments and lights on the sides that illuminate the floor in front of the rear seats.
Startech electronics specialists have also developed a multimedia system centered on an Apple iPad. Electrically deployed tables feature custom-tailored recesses for the tablet computer and the Bluetooth keyboard from Apple. A 20 MBit/s GSM modem with hidden aerial provides high-speed internet connection via EDGE, HSDPA or HSPA+ protocols, allowing more than one passengers to communicate online at the same time using a WLAN network available in and around the car.

Startech presented a new tuned-up version of Range Rover Evoque at the ongoing Essen Motor Show. Following a first rendition introduced at the Dubai Motor Show, the German tuner showed up at the Essen event with a new package for the 3 door configuration of the English SUV model. The tuning comprises a new front apron with bigger air intakes, a re-designed rear bumper with integrated diffuser hosting two pairs of mufflers as well as a small roof wing and other little details made of carbon fibre, while ride height has been lowered by 30 mm.
The car visual approach uses a mainly black two-tone color scheme featuring a red roof and four 22″ black/red alloys with other smaller red inserts around the car. In the passenger compartment the red/black theme continues with the leather upholstered seats and side panels as well as the dashboard. The model also uses a sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals and shift knob and Alcatara finishing for the ceiling. Startech is planning a performance kit for the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine of the model, confirming that similar packages for Evoque’s diesel variations are also in the works.

Startech launched its own tuning of Range Rover Evoque during the Dubai International Motor Show, releasing also a bunch of official pictures. The British SUV gets an aggressive body kit that highlith even further its already sporty styling. Besides, Startech gave the car a new suspension system which lowers its ride height by 35 mm. A new exhaust system as well as 21″ alloys (although 20″ and 22″ are also available) complete the exterior changes.
In the cabin, alcantara and black leather are Startech’s suggested choices, but more options for customization are also available. Needless to say, we are talking about top notch finishing anyway. Startech is also working on a performance package for the 2.0 petrol engine. However, no performance figures about the model are available at the moment.
