This new video dedicated to the Saab 9-5 plays on the 60-year history of the company and its “born from jets” slogan, that all nearly went down the drain last year. We’re surprised that the nostalgic video celebrating Saab history didn’t emerge earlier when the company was rescued in its death throes, and has appeared only now to ostentatiously celebrate the 9-5. We find the latter car quite a sexy and exciting proposition that could have done with a video all its own. We don’t mind watching some scenes from Saab history, but not in the context of the 9-5 model. Still if you want a moment to be reminded that we’re lucky to have Saab still around, this video will do that for you.
