Youtube user Kaipeternicolas just uploaded a new video on the popular website starring a Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 thundering on a German Autobahn at night and hitting 331km/h (206 mph) of top speed.
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is the most powerful production 911 997 out there and comes with a 6-speed transmission specifically designed for racing use, which allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, reaching the 200km/h mark (124 mph) in less than 12 seconds. The RS 4.0 is a 600 units limited edition issued this year that somewhat anticipates the end of the line for the 911 997 production.

Florida-based dealer Champion Porsche has created a very special version of Porsche 911 (mark 997), meant to raise awareness and build support for the military personnel of the US that is about to return home to spend Christmas with their beloved ones. The car has been developed with the cooperation of Florida E.S.G.R. (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) and of the U.S. Department of Defense. Although we have no confirmation on the matter, it seems quite likely that the proceeds coming from the sale of the model will be destined to some charity involved with the U.S Army.
This particular Porsche 911 uses a distinctive camo paint-job that reminds of the outfits used by the American soldiers in desert operations. This choice emphasizes the shiny black (with chrome outline) of its alloy rims, while at the rear we have a spoiler with integrated air inlet and a sporty exhaust system with two mufflers placed in the middle of the rear bumper. In the cabin we have a color-matching theme, with beige upholstery and finishing as well as some black and silver inserts.

One of the most striking features of the model is definitely its unusual livery, sporting a white/blue color scheme with carbon fibre roof and some Cars & Art’s decals. The model also uses super-light 20″ alloy wheels - courtesy of OZ Racing - fitted with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT performance tires. The Pretty Boy package is completed by a new exhaust system with flap control, H&R suspension that lowers the car’s original ride height by 35 mm, GT3-3 lip spoiler, front and tail covers and the mandatory red calipers.
