Even though there is no mention of the model anywhere in this 2 minutes long clip, this official teaser from Peugeot somewhat confirms the rumor that the new 208 will be launched over the internet this coming 2nd of November. All the clues and also the sketches drawn by the designers featured in the video just point at it.

The 208, heir of Peugeot 207, will have a completely different style than its predecessor, featuring a front end similar to the 508, with a smaller grille. The engine range will consist of the already known HDI line (with start/stop system) as well as a new generation of turbocharged 3 cylinder units. The most longed-for version is quite obviously the 208 GTi, which promises to be as aggressive and groundbreaking as its iconic ancestor 205GTi, which was a great commercial and racing success in the 80s and 90s.
