We saw the Alfa Romeo MiTo “Nine” video over on Blogdolcevita.com and here is some more information on the MiTo Nine package courtesy of our colleagues at Autoblog.it. The package is named after the upcoming movie musical from Rob Marshall, based on the Federico Fellini film, 8 1/2.
The “Nine” package is available for all versions of the MiTo, except the Quadrifoglio Verde equipped with the 1.4-litre TB MultiAir engine with 170 hp. The Nine kit on the “Progression” range offers “Elegante” 16-inch alloy wheels, black tint roof and brushed finish for door handles, mirrors, and headlight frames - at a cost of about 1,400 euros.
For the “Distinctive” range of the MiTo, the special kit includes 17-inch wheels, leather seats, lumbar back adjustment in the rear passenger seats, and the same black roof and brushed satin finish. The cost on this range is 1,700 euros. Check out the MiTo product placement if you’re going to see the film, and see the “Nine” with the Alfa MiTo preview video on Blogdolcevita.
Live pics of the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde at the Frankfurt Motor Show had us wanting to take this sexy little thing for a spin. Equipped with the Fiat 1.4 Multiair engine with 170 hp, one impressive figure is the weight-power ratio of 6.7 kg per horse power. CO2 emissions top just 139 grams/km.
Other features of the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde include the Dynamic Suspension system with four separate units electronically controlled with a central control unit with five accelerator sensors. The whole thing basically communicates with the DNA so that the car adapts itself to the road conditions.

The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde has been presented and the guys at “Al Volante” have already got themselves a test drive before the Frankfurt show presentation. It will be equipped with the 1.4-litre Turbobenzina MultiAir at 170 hp and will take on the role of the sportiest small Alfa before the MiTo GTA turns up.
Features of this MiTo include new 17-inch wheels and in the interior, sports seats and white light instrumentation to give the whole thing an austere, sports feel. The engine is reported as being very sweet and smooth, responsive even in third gear with the revs up to 1,000.
The MiTo Quadrifoglio is equipped with the Alfa Dynamic Suspension system, meaning the suspension will adapt to the driving situation encountered, when put to the sports mode ‘Dynamic’. According to the ‘Al Volante’ test, the new six-speed transmission is far more sharp and responsive than the previous, removing the “Achilles heel” of the standard MiTo.
