“Fireworks“. That’s the first word on Mercedes-Benz press release in occasion of the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and they’ve kept their promises. Next to the futuristic F 125!, the hydrogen concept car that marks the 125th anniversary of this brand, we find the new B-Class, the ML and plenty AMG models.

The F 125! is a prestigious model powered by fuel cell, providing 1000 km autonomy. Thanks to the highly revolutionary technology adopted in order to store hydrogen, the lithium-sulphur batteries as well as the inductive charging system, the F 125! it’s probably the most innovative vehicle we’ve seen at this event so far.

This concept car features four electric motors, one for each wheel, providing a total system output of 230kW (313hp), a maximum torque of 3,440 Nm and it reaches 0-100 km/h in 4,9 sec. The F 125! is also packing the latest technology: a 3D instrument cluster, a retractable 17-inch display and the innovative @yourCOMAND interface which provides an infotainment system featuring gesture recognition technology.
