Maserati is at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show with four models: the luxury SUV Kubang, the GranTurismo Sport, the GranTurismo S Automatica and the GranCabrio Sport. The Kubang is the model that marks the entry of the prestigious Italian manufacturer in the SUV market and has been developed alongside American ally Chrysler: the design of the car was created at the Maserati Style Center and all its key mechanical features (meaning brakes, steering, suspension and electronics) have been developed by Italian engineers.
The Maserati GranTurismo Sport was premiered at the recent 2012 Geneva Motor Show and is pushed by a powerful 4.7-litre V8 engine delivering 460 hp and 520 Nm of maximum torque. This unit can be mated to a 6-speed “MC Shift” sequential or a 6-speed automatic gearbox: with the former the GranTurismo Sport would hit the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark from standstill in just 4.7 seconds, with the latter it will need 4.8 seconds to do that, reaching 300 km/h (186 mph) of top speed with both gearboxes.
The Maserati GranTurismo S Automatica instead is powered by a 4.7-litre unit delivering 440 hp and 490 Nm of peak torque and uses a 6-speed automatic gearbox that uses four driving modes: Auto Normal, Auto Sport, Auto ICE and even manual. Top speed for this car is 295 km/h (183 mph), while the 0-100 km/h sprint time is rated at 5 secs. The already known GranCabrio Sport comes with a 4.7-litre unit credited with an output of 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque which pushes the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds with 285 km/h (177 mph) of top speed.

This is one summer plaything on our wishlist - the Maserati GranCabrio Sport. The new Maserati cabrio model shows off in this video after we saw all the official GranCabrio pics of late. Obviously with a range of options, the white leather interior in this particular example is quite stunning (probably also high impractical but who cares?).
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport price starts at €141,000 and that gets you marvellously good looks equipped with an Italian V8 engine, 450 hp, Skyhook electronic suspension, sports exhaust and a ZF six-speed gearbox. Did we mention it’s hot? Sorry - check out the video for yourselves.
These lovely Maserati GranCabrio Sport new pics show the sporty little cabriolet just in time for summer, after it first debuted at the last Geneva Motor Show. The GranCabrio Sport is based on the GranTurismo and is an important update in the Maserati lineup.
It’s equipped with a 4.7-litre V8 engine with 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque, and ZF transmission with MC Auto Shift software. Different from the standard GranCabrio, the Sport version has an aerodynamic kit and 20-inch wheels, along with the exclusive Rosso Trionfale tone, designed to celebrate the historic victories fo Juan Manuel Fangio with the 250F. The Maserati GranCabrio Sport price is about 141,000 euros.
After the Maserati GranCabrio Sport was released at the Geneva motor show, the company has now released its price (and do we wish we could afford one!). The GranCabrio Sport price is 141,000 euros, which is about 6,000 euros more than the standard GranCabrio with its 440 hp.
The Sport version has an extra 10 hp, an exclusive Rosso Trionfale colour and a ZF gearbox with MC Auto Shift. Skyhook suspension management is included and new bypass valves have been fitted to the exhaust system to let out some extra Maserati sound. The GranCabrio Sport has a top speed of 285 km/hr, which makes for some blurred good looks at that speed.
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport on show at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show is a special sports version that combines the class of the GranCabrio with the performance of the Granturismo MC Stradale. The GranCabrio Sport is equipped with Maserati’s 4.7-litre V8 engine with 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque. It has the ZF gearbox with MC Auto Shift and new Skyhook electronically controlled suspension. The sports exhaust has ByPass valves and we can only imagine what this must sound like.
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport has a top speed of 285 km/hr, and the sprint to 100 km/hr takes just 5.2 seconds. The model distinguishes itself through red detailing on the Trident logo, Astro Design 20-inch alloy wheels and an updated aerodynamic kit. The new colour, Rosso Trionfale, has been created specifically for this model to honour the 250F victories of Juan Manuel Fangio. The interior comes in Pregiato White and Chrome Grey.

The lovely Maserati GranCabrio Sport will go on show at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as the peppered-up version of the GranCabrio. The new Sport version will be equipped with a 4.7-litre V8 engine with an expected 450 hp and 510 Nm of torque. Top speed is up to 285 km/hr, while fuel consumption is down by six percent on the previous version.
The Maserati GranCabrio Sport gets the ZF gearbox with MC-Auto Shift transmission software which has already appeared on the Quattroporte Sport GT S. The Skyhook suspension system has been updated for the new model and a new set of brakes is included.
Maserati is going for sporty but elegant look with a new aerodynamic kit, ‘dark look’ and body colour features instead of chrome trim and new set of headlights and side skirts. It will be available for summer this year.
