The supercar Marussia B2 is sold-out: all 500 pre-orders have been filled already. The first production of the Russian-designed supercar will start from spring 2013. The B2 shares chassis and mechanics with the B1, but have very different aesthetics. The two supercars also share the same Cosworth-sourced 3.5-litre V6 engine, available with power outputs of 300, 360 and 420 hp. These impressive figures combined with a contained weight of just 1100 kg allow the coupe to burn the 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
Here are teaser shots of the Marussia B2, the Russian supercar to be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week. It will appear alongside the first Marussia car currently undergoing production, the Marussia B1. The latter first appeared last year and is a hybrid supercar that will be on the market next year, although it can be ordered for about 100,000 euros. More news to come.
