Lotus Eco Elise: official shots and details
The first shots of the new Lotus Eco Elise are out, while the presentation is expected for July 22 at the London Show where we should see more details on the car.
The lightweight aspect of the car will be its ID card; the Elise S it has lost all of 32 kilos, dropping to 828kg. The reduction is due to the lighter wheels, losing 15.8 kilos, and a new audio system.
The engine is the 1.8 Toyota at 136 hp, but the ratio now of body mass to power means that 100 km/hr is reached in six seconds, while the maximum speed of 205km/hr should push slightly higher.
