Here’s the third Lamborghini teaser shot for the 2010 Paris Motor Show and it’s clear that at least this mini teaser campaign is all abut carbon fibre. The third installment offers no further information on the Paris show ’surprise’ and there will be a fourth episode before whatever is revealed at the show is….revealed.
There hasn’t been any more light shed on whether Lamborghini will present two models, one of which would be the Lamborghini Jota and the other the mysterious 83X model. Apparently a special dealership event later this week could give us some more information, otherwise we’ll be waiting until Paris.

Juicy rumours from the internet indicate we could be seeing two new Lamborghini supercars at the 2010 Paris Motor Show and not just the one carbon fibre, supersports car manifesto previously thought. According to reports, what’s known as the Lamborghini Jota (codenamed LB715-5) will be presented, which is a new V12 model to replace the Murcielago.
It will apparently appear alongside something at this stage internally called the Lamborghini 83X which is a total mystery at this stage. The rumours have emerged after invitations to a special dealers event were issued, where the new carbon fibre Jota will most probably be presented. As we already mentioned, the McLaren competition on the carbon front may have galvanised Lamborghini into investing in this technology, and this new model apparently has a carbonfibre tub similar to that of the MP4-12C and made by the same manufacturer, Carbo Tech.
The teaser shots that Lamborghini has been releasing would indicate the Jota carbonfibre project, so the other mystery model is currently open to the wildest speculation. Apparently both the new models will be revealed at the dealers event on September 23rd, which is a full week before the Paris show opens to the press. So we’ll be waiting for exclusive spy shots and speculation to appear on the web later this week.

Along with a new teaser pic for its upcoming 2010 Paris Motor Show model, Lamborghini has also released its new supersports car manifesto, which is all about weight and handling, and not pure speed. Lamborghini has already revealed in the past that it is working on new carbonfibre technology, now with a dedicated laboratory, and here is another public statement that we will be seeing some changes at the supercar company.
It wouldn’t surprise us if some of this new carbonfibre drive is the result of McLaren’s MP4-12C supercar with its lower price, focus on pure sports handling and carbon fibre shell shaking up the supercar scene a little. Whatever the case, we’re happy to listen to a new tune from Lamborghini. The manifesto is after the jump, and see our previous Lamborghini teaser pic for the first peek of its Paris appearance.
