KTM X-Bow Montenergy: new official video released

By Adrian

A new official video starring one of Montenergy’s own renditions of KTM X-Bow has been released. The car featured in this clip sports the ‘Montecarlo’ kit, produced by the Italian aftermarket company that also offers the ‘Stratosferica’ package, which would make the X-Bow looking like the legendary Lancia Stratos (see photo gallery).

The Montecarlo conversion is available for 12,000 € and can be completed with a tuning of the standard 237 hp 2.0 engine that would boast its power up to 310 hp. Fully converted versions of KTM X-Bow ‘Montecarlo’ and ‘Stratosferica’ are also available with price tags of 78.000 € and 98.000 € rispectively. Find out more at Montenergy’s official website.

Alfa Romeo 4C concept at 2011 Geneva show?

By Alison

We’ve got to wonder whether, when the chips are down, making concept cars without any plans for their production is worth it. In any case, rumours are that the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept, to be based on the KTM X-Bow roadster model, will be revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The prototype would be based on the KTM, but would be equipped with a 1.750 TBi engine with 240 hp. No production is planned at this stage. The concept model would make for the only real Alfa news at the show, at this stage, as the Fiat group is more likely to concentrate on its Chrysler-based models, including the Fiat Freemont and Lancia Flavia.

KTM X-Bow pics and details

By Alison

Today we give you the last few galleries from the Geneva motor show, before its imminent closure after this weekend. Here are the official pics of the radical KTM X-Bow series model that was presented, only a year after its world premiere at Geneva.

Unfortunately, due to the recession, the original production target of 1000 models has slowed to 250 deliveries so far, however 600 models will be produced in its second year, showing that there is still space in the market for innovative automobiles. In addition, KTM is keeping its X-Bow pricing reasonable, with the entry-level model costing about 50,000 euros.
