You only need to see the steering wheel to understand the real potential of this car: no indicators, no superfluous levers or hands. There’s just a display screen and no loss of concentration in this vehicle. Even at first glance you get a sense of its nasty character: after the first teasers, the Aspid has been officially presented at the 2008 London motorshow.

No aspect of its personality has been disguised, including the engine details: two litre, volumetric compressor, 400hp. And in only 2.8 seconds it can reach 100km/hr. There will also be a 270hp version which will make that speed in 3.7 seconds, all with a sweetner at the end: consumption is only 5.5 and 4.8 litres per 100km. Could this be the perfect car?
