The Mig-U1, a spectacular Ferrari Enzo rendition from German tuner Gemballa, has been recently spotted and filmed again in Dubai by 4WheelsofLux. In comparison to the original model, Mig-U1’s aerodynamics have been heavily revised: huge Formula 1-inspired front and rear wings, modified air intakes and outlets (note the flashy air inlet on the roof) and a generally sharper bodywork provide the car with an extra 35kg of downforce on the front and 85kg on the rear at high speed. The car features a new exhaust system and a different mapping of the ECU bringing its power up to 700 hp, and comes with an electro-hydraulic height-adjustment system that can lift the expensive front end with LED daylights up by 45mm.
Even though we are aware that Ferrari purists might not be that fond of such a radical tuning, we think that this white stealth-looking Enzo is a brilliant interpretation of a truly iconic car that, in all honesty, is not the most beutiful supercar around. Even as a mere excercise in style, the Mig-U1 is at least on a par with Ferrari FXX.

Here’s the new Ferrari Enzo tuning from Gemballa called the Mig-U1 and, yes, they could have done a better job with the name. Just 25 units of Mig-U1 will be made, and all can be completely customised according to the client’s wishes. The aerodynamics have been completely redesigned for an extra 35 kg at the front and 85 kg at the rear, with active wings that are lowered below 120 km/hr.
Modifications have been made to the front air intakes for the engine and air outlets for the brakes, to optimise airflow. The bodywork itself is different after the tweaks to the aerodynamics and the wheel axle is now 80 mm wider at the front and 100 mm wider at the rear.
The electro-hydraulic height adjustment system (HLS) raises the wheel base by 45 mm for ramps and speed humps, and will automatically go back into place when travelling at more than 80 km/hr. Alloy wheels measure 10×19″ at the front with 265/35 tyres, and 13×20″ at the rear with 335/tyres.
German magazine Auto Bild has declared that the cabriolet/roadster sports car of the year for 2009 is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560/4 Spyder. The Gallardo was part of a number of sports cars, any one of which we would like to have, that was voted on by Auto Bild readers.
Winning in the cabriolet/roadster tuning section was the Gemballa Mirage GT Special Edition, while the Audi TT-RS and ABT AS5-R were the favourite coupe models voted, the latter representing the tuning category.
Gemballa’s Mirage GT Gold Edition is a tuning of the Porsche Carrera GT, continuing its ambitious program of tuning out-of-production V10 supercars. Gemballa has a Mirage GT, Mirage GT Carbon Edition and Mirage GT Black Edition, with this Gold Edition playing on new colour combinations.
The modifications are mostly the same across all the Mirage GT versions, involving an aerodynamic makeover, electronic suspension control, alloy wheels, and some changes in the exhaust and engine, going from 612 to 650 hp. The Mirage GT has a top speed of 335 km/hr, and reaches 100 km/hr in 3.7 seconds. A total of 25 models will be produced.

Gemballa has announced the limited production of the new Tornado: a decidedly elaborate version based on the Porsche Cayenne. Inspired by the Carrera GT, only 50 Tornado cars will be made, in GTS and GTR versions, with the latter a whole 250kg lighter than the series model.
The GTR will feature rear wheel drive, with a V8 engine at 740hp. Indiscrete use of carbon fibre is used in the body work, with 22 inch sports wheels, revolutionary aerodynamics and new interiors with Carrera GT style and four separate sports seats.
The more easygoing GTS will have power stages based on the GTS 405hp series, reaching 542hp or 641hp.
