New information and pictures of the Range Rover Evoque have been released subsequent to its European market presentation (for the five-door model) at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The Range Rover Evoque Coupé refers to the three-door model, although the five-door Evoque will have the same engine line-up and options. The models are aimed squarly at a sport-loving, open-air kind of public and the various bicycles and boats you see in these pictures bring that message home.
The Evoque is equipped with a two-litre petrol engine with 240 hp, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine available in two powersteps of 150 and 190 hp (front or all-wheel drive). The car is available in three packages of Pure, Prestige and Dynamic and these pics show the new colour schemes and accessory packages on offer.
The Evoque comes with a choice of 12 exterior colours with three tints for the roof, 16 interior colours, eight different types of wheels ranging from 17 to 20 inches, six types of interior metallic or wood finishes and roof racks which come in black or chrome. Did we mention this is a luxury vehicle? The interior also has an eight-inch touchscreen, digital TV, DVD reader, hard disk and an 825-watt sound system. If you find this SUV difficult to park then you also get five exterior cameras and blind spot control on the mirrors.

Project Kahn will tune the Range Rover Evoque, with technical aspects to be taken care of by Cosworth. Above is the only tuned Evoque pic we’ve got so far, and according to tradition, apparently the intervention in the style department will be minimal. We wouldn’t want to see overly pimped Evoque, but it does have some scope for tuning beyond the new wheels it will most likely be fitted with.
According to project Kahn the new-look Evoque will be released sometime early next year. With Cosworth occupying itself with the engine, we’ll be very interested to see how the two-litre Ecoboost unit will turn out. The Si4 version has already got 240 hp, so we could be looking at a powerful little Evoque on the road. This picture indicates the five-door Evoque will be the focus of the tuning, and before the modifications are done, check out some new pics below.

What the Range Rover Evoque five-door model has lost in fascination over the three-door version, it has gained in interior practicality for passengers. With an extra three to four centimetres of head room and the extra doors, the sleek and cool three-door Evoque has become more family friendly, and is designed to expand sales into a broader segment.
The coupĂ© look is still evident although the five-door version is evidently more akin to a general sports SUV than the original three-door design. No details have been released about the price difference between the two models, but according to reports it won’t be excessive indicating that Range Rover is aiming at two different segments, but in a similar price range, with its three-door and five-door models.
The Range Rover Evoque, particularly the three-door version, has got a head-start on the premium but funky, three-door SUV segment. It’s in front of both the Porsche Cajun and the Mini Canyon in terms of development and with its lovely design, could become the original sought-after model. The five-door Evoque continues the design theme but Range Rover has been clever enough not to ignore those who’ve got a couple of kids or need to carry adult passengers. See the pics and some of the press details below.

After seeing the new Range Rover Evoque presented live at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, here is the first official image of the five-door Evoque model which will be having its debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November. The five-door model sales release is planned for summer 2011 and at this stage it will have the same engine line-up as the three door model. The five-door Evoque will be about 15 cm longer than the three-door Evoque (4.5 metres compared to 4.34) and will cost about 2,500 euros more, starting at 35,000 euros.
The Range Rover Evoque is a hotly anticipated model from Range Rover and we ourselves can’t wait to see it live at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Victoria Beckham or not. These spy shots show the five-door Evoque version which we had originally hoped to see at the show, but which Range Rover has since said will not be appearing. The shots come from a dealer preview event and while only the three-door will be on show to press and public in Paris, the five-door Evoque should appear at the Los Angeles auto show in November.
Reports so far are that the five-door Evoque model will have the same engine line-up as the three-door version, but should cost about 2,000 pounds more. The Evoque will initially appear with a 2.0-litre petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel option, and will include a 2.2-litre ED4 model in the future. It will be available only with rear-wheel-drive and should have about 150 hp with less than 130 g/km of CO2 emissions.
