Some intriguing reports regarding the 2009 heir to the Ferrari F430 have appeared on a Ferrari forum, and this time they seem quite credible. The mid-engined car could be presented in October this year and released on the market come January 2010, according to Ferrari Chat.
So far, the new Ferrari would be called the F450 according to this forum, but other reports also have the moniker predicted as F470. Whatever the case, prudence is probably the best bet as we wait to see more news over the next few months.

We haven’t asked ourselves the whys and wheretofors, but Novitec Rosso has had the nerve to elaborate on the Ferrari F430 Scuderia. And the result is eight cylinders combined with a twin compressor.
Which means the power reaches a massive 717hp, pushing it to a maximum speed of 348 km. Acceleration gets to 3.5 seconds for 100km, 10.1 for 200km, and 26.1 seconds for a legendary 300 km an hour. That’s stuff to peel your face off the back windshield when you’re done.

Attending a driving course with Ferrari on the Fiorano track is definitely an exciting appearance, but using a group of 430 Scuderia is even better, while having Michael Schumacher at the wheel to give advice and demonstrations would be a privilege. In the video, Michael talks about his involvement in the development of the extreme version of the 430, that he then puts under test on the track, leaving us in no doubt as to his driving ability.
