Car stuff for Christmas: Ferrari notebook from Acer

By Alison

Ferrari One Acer notebook

If you’re desperate to own a Ferrari badge but can’t afford the real thing, there is plenty of Ferrari merchandise and general paraphernalia out there. This particular Ferrari-branded product is not bad though, if you want to surf the internet with a red laptop.

The Acer Ferrari One notebook is a standard style laptop, but it has a bright, shiny red lid and Ferrari badge. It costs about 600 US dollars and you get a 250 GB hard disk, 11.6 inch HD widescreen display and windows 7 Home Premium. If you want car stuff for Christmas, get your wish list together now. My favourite is still the Porsche family watch collection.

Porsche watch collection and Abarth chronograph on our Christmas wish-list

By Alison

Porsche watch collection

If you’re looking for a car-themed gift as the festive season arrives, look no further! For only 4,900 euros, you can have one of these Abarth V12-T-44 watches from BRM watch design. Only 49 watches will be made, and they’re available exclusively by online order only from the BRM website.

The V12-T-44 has a titanium case, Abarth logo on the face, chrome hands and red stitching on the band. We personally love the scorpion image on the time and date change dial. If the Abarth watch doesn’t take your fancy, though, you can always participate in the Bonham’s Porsche watch collection auction.

The Porsche family is auctioning its watch collection for charity, and under the hammer are some lovely examples of Eterna Swiss watches, a company that Porsche bought 14 years ago. Other watches from the Porsche collection also include Rolex and Omega-branded items, along with Panerai, Jaeger LeCoultre and Breitling. If you’ve got some spare cash, this is one not to be missed.
