This Cadillac commercial promotes the 2010 Cadillac range in a space/lift-off metaphor showing the CTS Sedan, CTS Wagon, the SRX SUV and an exciting new model for 2010, the CTS Coupè.
The CTS Coupè should be ready in summer of next year, and with the commercial set to re-introduce Cadillac to the American market, the brand is taking on some responsibility for the new General Motors future.
Cadillac has brought its SRX SUV to Europe for the first time, along with a brand new diesel engine. The V6, three litre common rail unit at 262hp will probably appear on many more General Motors’ future models. The Cadillac SRX also has a six-speed automatic transmission and all wheel driver, with new rear differential.
While the car has been designed for five passengers to maintain boot space, and the dimensions are set at 4.83 metres long and 1.91 metres wide, no news is available yet on fuel consumption or pricing; things that are currently of interest given the world’s economy.
