The BMW 3 Series coupe and cabriolet facelift for 2011 will also get the M-Sport treatment with sports bumpers and side skirts. M-Sport 18-inch wheels are included (19-inch wheels are available as an option), with sports wheels base and xeno lights. No interior pics are available of the 3 series M-Sport, but we can expect the sports style to continue inside with sports seats, alcantara fabric, and black tint. No autobloc differential is included which is a shame, but more details should be released soon. More pics of the new 3 Series coupe and cabriolet are below, with the first official video after the jump.

Here’s a look at the new BMW 3 Series facelift for both the coupe and cabriolet models. Beyond just a change in look, though, the 335i models get new engines, together with style updates, seen also on 328i models. The facelift is a 2011 model year improvement, and will see the new 3 Series coupe and cabriolet on sale in spring.
The new 335i engine is completely made from aluminium, and features a turbocharged, three-litre unit that is more fuel efficient and responsive than the previous model. It has 300 hp and about 406 Nm of torque, combined with a six-speed manual transmission, or a six-speed Steptronic automatic with “pull-style” shift paddles.
New aesthetic features for the 3 series include specially designed headlights, an interior with greater detail, and new exterior mirrors. It creates a sporty look, combined with the 3-series handling and drive feel. For all the details and a closer look, check out the gallery and press release after the jump.
Here’s a bit of gratuitous publicity from BMW but we’re sure most of the guys out there won’t mind. BMW shows off its wind tunnel technology using the hairdo of Sylvie van der Vaart and two BMW 3-Series cabriolets, separated by 22 years’ worth of technical innovation. If you look very closely, and focus on Sylvie’s blonde hair, you can figure out the results for yourself. All of which means that a girl buying a cabrio today is going to have a much less sexy effect than if she bought it 22 years ago. The video of Sylvie vs the wind tunnel is after the jump.

Japanese tuner Wald International has given its very personal interpretation of the BMW E90 series, both in the previous version and the more recent restyling. The kit is really agressive and is available only in white or dark grey, taking up some of the themes from the M3 sedan and taking them to the extreme.

The BMW 3 series restyling debut on the German market has been set for September 20, meaning that Germans will soon be able to purchase the Touring sedan from about 29,000 euros.
That’s the entry level figure for the 318i sedan at 143 hp, which is part of a range that includes four petrol engines and five diesel engine options. The 318i Touring costs 29,650 euros as the base cost.
Coupè and cabriolet prices also receive a bump up, with the range starting at 33,200 euros for the 170hp 320i, while the latter, with the same engine, costs 40,700 euros.
As per tradition, the official media release is followed by new pics and videos of the new BMW series 3 E90/91. Included is also a look at the M-sport package, including a new, more agressive nose.

BMW’s best-seller has been re-done and with it we see a sober restyling, though more visible than the Series 5 version. The restyling, undertaken by BMW’s head of design, Adrian van Hooydonk, has benefited most the much criticised rear which will now return to take on the classic BMW “L” lights.
The front loses its chrome mustache and adopts aspects similar to the motifs seen on the coupè. The optical set remains the same, but a new system for the indicators has been updated, which should see the ring style from the Xenon used, for both normal and halogen versions.
