Another Audi A8 teaser shot has been released before the debut of the new A8 sedan in Miami later today. The only thing we’ve previously seen of the A8 is the clear addition of LED lights in the second photo below, and a brief teaser video (after the jump). We’ll be bringing you more details later today after the debut and hopefully a nice gallery so we can get a closer look at Audi’s new A8 saloon.

Audi has released this debut teaser video for the new Audi A8, to be presented on December 1st. We should hopefully know more about the much anticipated sedan on that date, as the full alluminium chassis and bodywork promises a lightweight, performance-oriented car.

The new A8 will have all wheel drive and QVT differential, and each unit in the engine range should have direct injection and twin turbo power. The main engine choice will likely be a 3.0-litre and 4.2-litre V8, in both diesel and petrol options. The release of the new A8 will see competition heat up in the large saloon segment, and we can’t wait to see it.

Here is a spy video of the new Audi A6 or Audi A7, coming all the way from Mexico. The video was taken in the town of Puebla, which is home to Volkswagen Group production facilities. While no Audis are known to be produced or tested there, it still points to a VAG vehicle, which could have the Volkswagen badge rather than the Audi badge. Reports say that it’s too big to be an Audi A8, and if it’s a Volkswagen, bets are on the new Phaeton at this stage.

These Audi S8 spy shots are from Autogespot reader, Michael Biro, and show the new sporty S8 testing in the Austrian mountains. The Audi A8 will be replaced by a new model, substituting the V10 engine for possibly an aspirated V8 with about 450 hp. Audi should also produce a lighter and more economical version for the future.

The S8 shown here has classic Audi design, with a few changes to the grill, sportier bumpers, a new set of alloys and a redesigned exhaust. The new Audi A8 could be revealed by the end of this month, while details on the release of the S8 are unknown.

This Audi A8 teaser shot doesn’t tell us anything about the new car, apart from the now trade mark Audi LED lights. The car appears with Michael Dick, Audi’s Board Member for Technical Development, and the sedan is completely covered with a sheet.

The World Car Fans site makes some suppositions as the new A8, suggesting it’s shorter and has a more angular rear windshield that what has appeared in official sketches. The teaser shot is said to have appeared in promotional material for Audi’s 100th anniversary.

The A8 was set to debut at the Frankfurt show in September, but apparently this appearance has been postponed. The car has been planned for a 2010 release to the market, and will have four engine options, including petrol and diesel versions of a V8 3.0 and 4.2 litre.
