A never-seen-before Lexus LFA roadster just made a surprise appearance at a drifting side-event just outside the venue hosting the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, currently ongoing in the Japanese capital. At the moment there are no info about this model, but there’s a chance it is just an aftermarket conversion of a regular LFA coupe. In any case, it looks stunning and sounds just as great, and the video surely makes for a nice Sunday watch.
Nissan unveils the Nismo March Concept at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, currently taking place in the Japanese capital. This spiced-up version of the popular minicar (a.k.a. Micra in several markets) is the third compact model to get administered the Nismo treatment after the Juke and the LEAF.
Nissan did not reveal much about the model in terms of mechanical modifications, just confirming the addition of not-better-specified ‘Nismo exclusive parts’ as well as high-performance suspension and large-diameter lightweight wheels. However, we can notice a newly designed front grille, different wing mirrors and the presence of several aerodynamic parts, most notably the rear spoiler. Besides, the car comes with the usual pearl white body/red inserts combination that is becoming Nismo’s signature color scheme.
As for now this model is just a concept, but the response of the public might eventually lead to a limited edition production version of the model. To find out more about the Nissan March/Micra Nismo Concept, check out the official press release after the jump.

Renowned Japanese tuner Wald International will unveil their rendition of the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon, which will open its doors this coming Friday. Aesthetically, the most evident changes for this re-dubbed ‘Black Bison’ Phantom are the new front bumper with redesigned air inlets, integrated LED day running lights and lip spoiler, air outlets placed behind the front wheels, side sills and a rear bumper with integrated mini-diffuser and hosting a couple of mufflers. At the moment there are no further technical data or performance figures to speak of, but we will make up for that once the Tokyo event will get started.

Japanese tuner BenSopra will present an extreme tuning of Nissan GT-R at the forthcoming 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon (13-14-15 January). These official CGI pictures offer an anticipation of the aerodynamic package that will equip the car: basically every visible part of the bodywork will be modified, with much bigger fenders, a new set of air intakes and outlets and a massive rear spolier. Besides, the way the bonnet opens suggests that the frame itself will be significantly modified.
BenSopra Nissan GT-R will count on 1000 hp delivered by a heavily modified 3,8 litre twin-turbo V6, although no information has been released about the kind of intervention the engine has been subjected to. BenSopra’s official website confirms that the entire car will be up for sale in 2012.
