Like every year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed has hosted a grand series of some great new models, for example last week we saw the Abarth 500 Opening Edition. The little scorpion though, wasn’t the only star showing off at the prestigious event.
Jaguar, in fact, had a surprise in store with a heart stopping example of the XF-R, the extreme version of the sedan. The British berlina-coupè is equipped with a 5.0 V8, direct injection engine with volumetric compressor that will give the Mercedes E63 AMG, BMW M5 and Audi RS6 (estimated 500hp) a run for their money.
The debut is expected for 2009, but Jaguar hasn’t released anymore precise information. Could this move, like the Nissan GT-R, bring some fortune to the Jaguar table?
