The SQ5 TDi is the first model of Audi S range to be equipped with a diesel engine. Under the hood of this D-segment premium SUV lies a powerful twin turbocharged 3.0-litre TDi with 313 hp mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. The Audi SQ5 TDi will cost around £45,000, will be available to order from October and will go on sale from next year.
The design includes elements such as beefier bumpers, 20-inch wheels, lowered suspension, rear roof spoiler and quad exhaust pipes. The interior features sports seats and specific Audi S range details. According to the German carmaker the competition of the SQ5 TDi is mainly represented by the BMW X3 xDrive35d.
The premium sports SUV is 4.644 m long, 1.911 m wide and 1.624 m high. The equipment includes black interior trims, matt brushed aluminum inlays, glossy exterior kit, light kit, Xenon Plus headlights and LED daytime running lights, Alcantara and leather upholstery, infotainment with colour display, multi-function leather sports steering wheel in 3-spoke design.
