Lebanese carmaker W Motors enters the narrow circle of the premium sports with the introduction of two brand new models, the ‘Hyper-Sport’ and the ‘Super-Sport’, which they describe as “the most exclusive, luxurious and technologically advanced hyper-cars in the world.”
At the moment it is difficult to argue whether these claims are right or wrong as there isn’t much to talk about - though the official technical specs will be released by the end of the year - but W Motors engineers already made it clear that both cars will introduce new solutions for both the interior and the exterior.
However, W Motors did release some basic info about one of the models: apparently, the ‘Hyper-Sport’ will eventually come with a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6 engine deliverying something like 750 hosepower, and only five units of this machine will be produced. Performance figures for this model would be 2.8 secpmds for 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time and 385 km/h (280 km/h). Both models should be officially introduced to the world at the next Qatar Motor Show, in January 2013. In the meanwhile, you can have a look at the first images in our photogallery.
