Citroen has released an internet site called c-reveal.com where it will show previews of all the latest news from the company. The first presentation is already available, showing the Citroen C4, which also has its own entirely new site with all the details. The countdown continues for another model, yet to be discovered - it could be the C3 Multispazio, which will be an important addition in combatting adversaries in the Compact MPV sector.
The C4 restyling is not overdone and includes new spoiler, lights, alloy wheels and some new colours. The interior also has some modifications with new finishes and colour combinations, and the rev counter has been moved to the middle of the dash display. The new multimedia system NaviDrive includes USB port, ten gigabite hard disc and 16/9, seven-inch screen.
Of note is the introduction of the 1.6, 120 hp aspirated and 150 hp THP turbo compressor engines, seen on Peugeot and Mini, capable of 159 and 164 g/km of CO2 emissions, and average consumption of 6.7 and 6.9 litres per 100km. Debuting in the diesel engine category is a 140hp, two-litre HDI Euro 5, available with manual transmission only. Other diesel options have also been confirmed, while new Michelin Energy Saver tyres contribute to reducing consumption.
