The Italian auto magazine throws a hissy fit against their erstwhile friends at Auto Motor und Sport, over the violation of the embargo in publishing official photos of the Fiat Sedici.
Quattroruote often works cheek-to-cheek with AMS (e.g. on the Master Test of euro-saloons that generated an infamous flamefest on Autoblog.it), today publishes a very prissy sounding article about embargo-violation, lamenting that “Auto Motor und Sport published, many Italian publications followed suit, with the poor justification of ‘they did it first’”. For us and Autoblog.it the logic was perfectly linear: nothing signed, no preferential treatment, no photos received before the embargo, ergo we published with a clear conscience.
