Here’s yet another fantastic video from American maniac Ken Block, the undisputed King of the Gymkhana, once again behind the wheel of his much powerful and beloved Ford Fiesta HFHV, a car credited with an output of 650 horsepower and a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of just 1.8 seconds. It goes without saying that you are in for another brilliant display of skills from Mr.Block as well as the usual load of smoking rubber.
This video, called “Gymkhana Five”, was filmed by Ken Block’s crew over a few days in the city of San Francisco, California, and features a very special guest appearance from Ken’s old buddy Mr.Travis Pastrana, who was his team mate dor the 2006 Subaru Rally Team USA.
Ken Block is a 45 year old American rally driver, entrepreneur and stuntman known worldwide for his freestyle driving style and his love for drifting. He has always been sponsored by DC Shoes, a well-known American footwear company he actually co-founded in 1994. The car he drives in this video is actually a Ford Focus RS WRC that’s been specifically modified to suit his driving style by Olsbergs Motorsport Evolution. He also raced a few years in WRC with different cars. Today, Block runs in the colors of the Monster World Rally Team.
