Official: in june 2006 the arrival of the BMW Z4 and Z4M Coupe

BMW has officially announced that the Z4 and Z4M Coupe will be available since june 2006. The quick decision was due to the “enthusiastic public reception” for the Z4 Coupè Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Two engines were mentioned in the press release: the 6 inline cylinders 3.0i with 265 hp and the 3.2 6L with 343 hp mounted on the recently announced Z4M roadster. We’ll have to wait next year for more info on the differences between roadster and coupe (less weight ? better performance ?).
