Suzuki has released the first images of the face-lifted Escudo, the mid-size SUV that in Europe is known as Grand Vitara. The upgrade provides for several aesthetic improvements that surely refresh the look of the car, which has been on the market now virtually unchanged for 7 years.
The most dramatic changes affected the front section as the new Grand Vitara now has a newly designed bumper fascia, a different grille and side mirrors with integrated indicators. The Suzuki designers also got rid of the spare tire at the back and changed the position of the number plate, which has been raised by a few inches.
The cabin received a relatively less impactful upgrades in the form of new fabrics and more refined materials. Japanese buyers can also order the special X-Adventure variant, featuring the exclusive Bison Brown Pearl Metallic exterior color, 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome front grille, tinted windows, rear spoilers and a number of cool accessories offered as standard such as sunroof and red accents for seats, steering wheel and gear shift lever.
