These images show a mule still not in its final design, cleverly camouflaged to disguise the parts at the core of the restyling. The German car will get a new front bumper and revised rear light units, with LED daytime running lights: two separate headlamps will be replaced by a single circular unit, taking up the traditional E-Class design, used since 1996.
The changes will then be extended to the grille and the passenger compartment, which will be including a slightly redesigned dashboard, a new steering wheel rim and new tech equipment. There won’t be any changes to the engine range, neither an AMG version. The debut is scheduled for early 2013.
