Coming from Audi in Poland is this “authoritative” document that shows the future engine plans of the manufacturer. Everything from petrol to diesel, from reduced power to transmission changes, you can check it out and make up your own mind. The offering will be varied and attractive, and there is also some news on models to be introduced.
Rear wheel drive should debut towards the end of next year, and in addition to the current 1.4 TFSI and we should also see a 1.2 TFSI 86 hp, recently seen on the Seat Ibiza revealed.

The 344 hp of the V8 4.2 will go into retirement, ushering in the era of the V6 TFSI 3.0, in a full power version of 330 hp, and also a reduced version at 290 hp. We could also see S-Tronic transmission with seven-speed double clutch.
Audi S5
The first surprise: from September 2010, possibly in the context of a restyling, the coupé will also be equipped with a supercharged TFSI, to conform to the sedan and leave behind the V8. The more compact engine will favour a greater weight distribution and lower centre of gravity.
In expectation of a July 2010 debut, it will be the only model to offer the V8 4.2, going against the grain of downsizing. Power should increase to more than 450 hp and we should see double-clutch transmission.
New bodywork halfway between the station wagon and the coupé, will be offered with the same engine range as the A5: from the 1.8 TFSI, to the V6 diesel and up to the V6 TFSI at 330 hp. The debut should happen in 2012 and we still have time to get used to its ambiguous multi-personality.
This much awaited coupè-cabriolet based on the MLB model, will be offered with coupé and cabriolet bodywork (with four doors) from 2010.
For this sportback version the big news from World Car Fans, while we wait to see how these engines will be received by the market, is that the V6 petrol and diesel engines could satisfy any taste with an eight speed transmission.
Audi S7
Second surprise, with a November 2010 debut, that will show off 394 hp with a 4.0 TFSI - why have a V6 TFSI when you can have more?
Audi A8 D4
Not much news regards this model, the V8 engines will be kept, technology is updated with the new eight-speed transmission and this should put it in line to compete with the S Class and Series 7.
The concept V12 TDI is likely to be shelved to make way for a V10 5.2 at 525 hp. In June 2009 the engine should see its debut on the coupé, in March of the following year for the spider.
This is a little splah of sports driving before the appearance of the V8 diesel…

06 May 2011 - 10:25 - #1The new V12 TDI engine is really very great because it has more power than earlier engines and it is designed for super fast cars which requires more power than ordinary cars.
