After the first pics and official details on the new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, the Stuttgart manufacturer has also released a video to introduce its sports family-car. The CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake is being described by Mercedes as an unprecedented combination of performance, style and versatility.
The model that completes the CLS range is powered by a supercharged 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that comes in two configurations: with 525 hp and 700 Nm of torque or with 557 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to the seven-speed MCT automatic transmission. The standard version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, while the more powerful 557 hp unit takes 4.3 seconds. Top speed is an electronically limited 250 km/h for both models, as well as the average fuel consumption of 10.1 litres per 100 km.
At launch the car will be offered in the classic special Edition 1 equipped with the 557 hp engine and featuring Allanite Grey paint, white leather interior and carbon fibre trim. For more detailed information please read the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake article published a few days ago.
