The following images feature the Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition. This brand new version of the historic British off-road is easily recognisable by the characteristic rugged look and the unique body colours: Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze, both in contrast with the Santorini Black trim for the roof.
The facelift includes 16-inch black alloy wheels, wrapped in 235/85 Goodyear Wranglers tyres to face any off-road surface. The interior is enriched with leather seats and Land Rover logo embroidered on the headrests. The XTech Special Edition, according to what reported by Autoblog.com, will be available in both Defender 90 and 110 (longer wheelbase model) and will be marketed in the U.K. from this month.
For reference, Land Rover has recently lauched the Land Rover Defender Wood by Vilner and the Defender Blaser Edition. The first is characterised by the use of wood, used for panelling the rear of the passenger compartment and replacing the traditional mats. The second model, produced in collaboration with Blaser, renowned producer of shotguns, is painted in Keswick Green colour and features a specially designed gun case fitted in the trunk, able to hold five guns.
