The new Kia Soul has kept its name and especially its concept look. It will officially debut in October at the Paris show and will emphasise its originality and its young target market. The first prototype from 2006 was designed by Californians and Koreans of the company, and the following 3 concept presented at the recent Geneva show has given a concrete expectation for the model.

It will be manufactured in Korea from September 2008 with a wide variety of options available: the Soul will allow Kia to take its first steps in the city car market. Still no detailed information is available on engine or performance, but we know the ambitious plans of the Korean company foresee the production of 100,000 units in 2009.
