The diffusion of official images of the Audi A3 restyling continue. After the normal version and the new S3 Sportback, this time it’s the S3 three-door’s turn. On this car, as per the five door, the 2.0 TFSI with 265 hp will be available. The acceleration from 0-100km/hr happens in 5.7 seconds (5.8 for the Sportback) while maximum speed is at 250 km/hr.

For all versions, day lights have been introduced with seven led and Bi-xeno lights. Side indicators have been integrated into the rear-view mirrors, and the rear lights and mud guards are also new. Some interior finishes have been changed and audio controls have been re-designed. The central display now includes gear change display as a suggestion to limit consumption.

The range is comprised of the 1.6 petrol at 102 hp, the 1.4 TFSI at 125 hp, the 1.8 TFSI at 160 hp, the 2.0 TFSI at 200 hp, and the 3.2 six-cylinder at 250 hp. Diesel engines include the old 1.9 TDI, 105 hp, and now the new common rail 2.0 TDI at 140 and 170hp. The most economic version in terms of consumption is the TDI 105 hp, capable of running at 4.5 litres/100km. For all models a six-gear manual transmission is available, with the 3.2 has the S-Tronic six-gear, double clutch system, available for all engines. The new seven speed transmission is reserved for the 1.6 105hp, the 1.4 and the 1.8 TFSI.

All wheel drive with Haldex addition, equipped on the S3 and the 3.2 is also available on the 1.8 TFSI, the 2.0 TFSI and the 2.0 TDI 140 and 170 hp. All versions have an updated wheel base and for electronic shock absorber command, the Magnetic Ride system is available on the 1.8 TFSI, TDI 140hp and the TDI 170 hp.
