0 Comments from ReadersBMW released official pictures of the new three-door versions of the 1-Series and the sportier M135i, equipped with a 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology producing 320 hp. The entry level engine for this model is the four-cylinder of the 114i with power output of 102 hp, which will soon be fitted on the 5-door version, too. The 3-door variant of the 1er also unveil the 116d EfficientDynamics Edition with 116 hp, and a CO2 emission quotient of 99 g per km. Both will be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The rest of the engines are completely identical to those of the 5-door version.
The Auto Start Stop function can be ordered both on the manual and automatic transmission versions. At a later time, the BMW 1-Series will also be offered with the xDrive all-wheel drive system that will debut with the engines of the 120d and the M135i models. The new BMW 1-Series three-door version will also be available in BMW Sport Line and Urban Line trim levels. A specially developed M Sport package will be offered as well.
