More sneaky images of the upcoming, facelifted Opel Insignia, and this time around it got spotted while undergoing some hot weather testing in Southern Europe. Both the sedan and Sports Tourer configurations of the car were captured on film by our photogrphers, and as we can see from these images the changes are mainly focused on re-designed bumpers, front head lights, front grille and rear lights. Which is the minimum you would expect, actually.
Judging by their look, the rear lights we can see on both these prototypes have been built and put there for test purpuses only, probably in an attempt to not give the definitive version away (that we would expect to come with the mandatory LED technology). As for now we don’t know when the updated Insigna will see the light of the day, but we would expect it to come up with a fairly renewed engine line-up.
