Cadillac presents its restyled CTS range: the facelifted model year 2013. All versions of the car, Saloon, Sport Wagon and Coupe, have been updated, including the cars of the CTS-V range. The range of American cars offers minor aesthetic updates and slightly restyled equipment, with no changes to the powertrain.
The two engines available for the CTS, the 3.0-litre V6 with 270 hp and the 3.6-litre V6 with 318 hp, remain unchanged. The engine of the Cadillac CTS-V doesn’t present any change either, it is the same 6.2-litre V8 producing 556 hp as the previous version. Cadillac has only modified the adaptive remote vehicle starting system, which is now offered as standard on all models.
The CTS-V is updated with new two-piece front brake rotors that according to Chevrolet provide better resistance to warping, improving brake durability and reducing weight. Aesthetically speaking, the car features a new front grille sporting a new finish that matches the new range of exterior colours: Glacier Blue Metallic, Silver Metallic Coast and Summer Gold Metallic.
