0 Comments from ReadersMini has confirmed that the Countryman Coupe will be launched on the market. The new car is expected to make its debut at the next Paris Motor Show, and it should go on sale in early 2013.
Based on the Mini Paceman concept, the final version of the Mini Countryman Coupe should remain very similar to the prototype, retaining the same aesthetic features of the model. On a technical level the car should keep the same powertrain of the five-door Countryman, as well as the same transmission and engine range.
The new Mini Countryman Coupe should offer a front-wheel drive system with an optional choice of ALL4 four-wheel drive. Just as the standard Countryman model, the coupe could also be offered as a John Cooper Works version with a 1.6-litre twin-scroll turbocharged engine with output of 218 hp and 280 Nm maximum torque.
