The Jaguar F-Type prototype will be officially displayed during the Goodwood Festival of Speed (28th June – 1st July). The news has been revealed by Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director of Jaguar, who added that the event is the perfect place to showcase the F-Type to the public, before presenting it as a concept car at the next Paris Motor Show (29th September – 14th October). The sports car will be driven by Mike Cross, Jaguar Chief Engineer for Vehicle Integrity. The upcoming model will have a roadster body and will go on sale in mid 2013.
Meanwhile, Jaguar has released a new official video starring Head of Design Ian Callum, the man responsible for developing Jaguar’s new design language. The F-Type will be offered with the 3.0-litre V6 supercharged engine, with 380 hp and 460 Nm, which could be possibly joined by the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 unit that develops an output ranging between 510 and 550 hp.
