The site AutoWeek.nl has published some pictures of the new Aston Martin Vanquish, the V12 engined berlinetta designed to replace the current DBS. The Vanquish take inspiration from the prototype AM310 and shares many stylistic details with the One-77, including the stretched C-shaped tail lamps and the raised rear spoiler integrated into the boot lid. The side of the car presents an interesting streamlined profile with side strakes elongating from the side grille to the door and a very aggressive front fascia.
Under the hood there is a front-mid mounted 6.0-litres twelve-cylinder V12 engine, producing 573 hp and 620 Nm of torque. The 0-100 km/h sprint time is covered in 4.1 seconds and the top speed is 295 km/h. The interior of the Vanquish presents similar details to the DBS with luxurious One-77 leather and Alcantara trims. The luggage compartment is very spacious with 368 litres capacity. The new coupe from Gaydon will be displayed during the 2012 Paris Motor Show (29th September – 14th October).
