If the 550 hp of the Jaguar XKR-S were not enough, now the English carmaker could be working on something even more extreme. The spy photos published here show the XKR-S while undergoing a series of tests on the Nurburgring race track. Could this be Jaguar’s answer to the AMG Black Series?
There are some visible changes from the standard version, such as a lower front spoiler with canards mounted on the front sides and a larger hood sporting a few more air intakes. Even more noticeable is the large rear wing. The above aesthetic updates in addition to the lack of rear seats, new sports front seats and stiffer suspension suggest the arrival of a supercar built for the track.
To make things even more interesting there are also rumours about a more powerful engine, which could explain the larger hood and the increase number of air intakes.
