Mercedes has released a new video of the SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition, to celebrate 45 years of partnership between Mercedes and AMG. The production, limited to 45 units only, will be based on the SL 65 AMG model and will be sporting the Magno Graphite paint from the exclusive Designo range.
The look of the luxurious roadster is further enhanced by carbon fibre trimmings on the mirrors and spoilers, as well as CFRP and aluminium details. The 6.0-litre biturbo V12 engine with 630 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque is mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission. The 0-100 km/h is covered in 4 seconds flat reaching a top electronically limited speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption is rated at 11.6 litres per 100 km.
The Anniversary Edition features a new sports exhaust system, which further emphasises the roar of the high-performance version of the new SL. There are also specially designed rims, measuring 19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the rear, fitting 255/35 and 285/30 tires respectively. Inside the car offers the finest Designo custom finishes available on the range, with leather seats, alloy pedals and carbon fibre trimmings, which highlight the sportiveness of the car.
