Project Kahn introduces a new styling package dedicated to the Ferrari 458 Italia. Actually, this new package from the renowned English tuner consists of only a few cosmetic changes affecting the roof of the car, portions of the tail and the aerodynamic surfaces of the sides, all of which have been painted in matt gray to create a captivating contrast with rest of the bodywork. The forged alloy wheels - 21″ front and 22″ rear - are painted in matt Pearl Gray and hide the carbon-ceramic brakes and the yellow calipers.
Then there is another quite peculiar thing about it: fancy wheels aside, everything else is listed in Ferrari’s catalogue. Just check the on-line configurator of the Italian manufacturer and you will see it for yourself. This makes the whole “styling package” idea offered by Kahn somewhat questionable, especially because the Tailor-Made program allows any potential buyer to customize every aesthetic aspect of the car - both inside and outside - as requested by the customer himself.
Well, at least Project Kahn has taken steps to increase the performance of the mechanical means by substantial changes … No, that’s not even the case as the 458 Italia you see in these picture is completely “stock” in every component. Is this the most ‘fake’ Ferrari tuning package ever?
