Hennessey: Steven Tyler has bought the first Venom GT Spyder for $ 1.1 Million

John Hennessey has invited Steven Tyler at the headquarters of his company, to personally deliver him the first Venom GT Spyder available on the market. The frontman of rock band Aerosmith has received the car and took part in a photoshoot with the Californian entrepreneur, who then told a curious story: “Steven came to us last year and asked if we could build his Venom GT as a roadster”. This suggestion persuaded Mr. Hennessey to develop the Venom GT Spyder, which weights 1,024 Kg (10 kg heavier than the coupe) and is pushed by the same V8 unit. The 6.2-litre twin-turbo engine delivers 45 hp more then the coupe - developing 1,261 hp – to maintain a 1 horsepower per 1 Kg power to weight ratio. The Venom GT Spyder costs £696,731 ($ 1.1 Million).
