A rare million Euros Ferrari 599XX Evolution is the most valuable piece up for grabs at the ferraristore.com auction. Starting next week Ferrari will launch a big online auction to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquakes that struck the region Emilia Romagna in Northern Italy. Among the items is included a V8 Formula 1 engine, helmets and racing suits donated by Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa and a wide selection of memorabilia. The fundraising will also include some goods from the Ferrari Store, including wristwatches.
“As soon as news about the earthquakes came out, Ferrari clients and collectors from around the world spontaneously contacted the Maranello headquarters to offer their contribution. Once again the generosity of Ferrari’s enthusiasts will enable the company to provide support to those most hit by the tragedy. A demonstration of solidarity that, in recent years, has contributed to the reconstruction in Abruzzo after the earthquake, as well as the building of a school in Fukushima in Japan after last year’s disaster.”
