Hamann releases some images of its own rendition of the McLaren MP4-12C. The well-known German tuner introduces the ‘memoR’ kit, specifically developed for to English super car that is meant to further enhance originality and aggressiveness of the standard design. This special package includes a number of innovations such as the unusual front bumper with integrated LED strips, a re-designed hood and the striking airscoop on the roof, elements that surely provide the MP4-12C with a more up-to-date flavor.
The highlights of the rear section are a new three-way exhaust system, a bigger diffuser and a large rear wing. The McLaren MP4-12C by Hamann sports a black livery embellished with red decals and details, with the same two-tone scheme used for the whole exterior as well as its exclusive 21″ alloy wheels. The only exception to the red-and-black rule is its set of calipers, all of which are painted in yellow and marked with the tuner’s logo.
Nothing as been specified about the mechanics of the car, something that would make us believe that the original powertrain hasn’t been modified. Thereby, the model should come with the unadulterated 600 hp 3.8-litre supercharged V8 of the standard model, rear wheel drive and a semi-automatic 7-speed sequential gearbox. Consequently, performance figures would be expected to be pretty similar to the ones claimed by the manufacturer: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
