Audi has added a new engine to the A6 and A7 MY 2012: the powerful 3.0-litre TDI turbo diesel engine, producing an output of 313 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. To welcome this long-awaited unit, the tuner ABT has renewed the full range of 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel engines: the 3.0 TDI goes from 245 to 300 hp (+65), while the 3.0 TDI twin-turbo will go from 313 hp to 360 hp, also gaining 50 Nm of torque, for a total of 700 Nm.
With this new units the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. For those seeking even more performance, the petrol 3.0-litre TFSI will reach 420 hp (+120). All models will be featuring new aesthetic updates, specific lower springs and brake system 380 x 34 mm drilled with 8-pistons calipers. A wide choice of alloy wheels in sizes 20 and 21-inch is also available.
