Diminutive Spanish manufacturer IFR Automotive - that we admit is fairly unknown to most people - has recently changed its name to Aspid and has just released a teaser offering a glimpse of the main lines characterizing its next model, which will soon be introduced to the public. According to Autocar, this new car will make large use of lightweight materials and will be powered by either a traditional V8 petrol engine or a hybrid system with KERS.
The previous model released by the carmaker - which was tentatively named Aspid and got introduced at the 2008 London Motor Show four years ago - could be described as a contemporary interpretation of the classic English lightweight car with no compromises (see the gallery by clicking on the thumbnails below), but this new one doesn’t seem to follow in those footsteps. We will be waiting for clearer images.
